Where can you get an Infinitink tattoo? There's a permanent ink tattoo you can get using Infinitink. Do you know if there are any tattoo parlors where you can get a tattoo by someone using Infinitink?

saucyiscrazy replied: "http://www.infinitink.com/consumer/ there is a list on that page But make sure you want a tattoo before you get it. you shouldnt be getting a tattoo with the intentions of removing it in the future. it should be something you want"

Is there any tattoo parlors in chicago that use infinitink? ? I searched already on yahoo answers and found one person saying that they all should carry it, well they don't. I've called many shops and none use it. Specific shops whould be appreciated, thanks.

bluestetson replied: "http://www.infinitink.com/consumer/ Doesn't look like it. Tattoopheliac, this ink might be crap, but I know for a fact that All or Nothing in Georgia is not a crap shop. That place is ridiculously good and Brandon Bond is an intensely good artist. 12 month waiting list and a $1000 minimum means he has to be good."

replied: "http://www.infinitink.com/consumer/c_ink.php that website told me what it was. (i had to look it up) anyways it shows a few places that have the ink but not in chicago"

Jeffrey S replied: "Looking at InfinitInk's website, there is nothing located directly in Chicago. However, there is one in Lockport, IL, which according to Google Maps, is about 40 miles away. (list of tattoo parlors that carry Infinitink) (parlor in Lockport)"

tattoopheliac replied: "Of course only a few shops are going to carry this garbage ink. The only ones that carry this ink are ones that are no longer in the industry for the love of the work but in it just for money and as a job. Why would an artist willingly put all the effort into creating a life long lasting work of art just so that the person can have it easily removed later? Why get a tattoo in the first place if you may get it removed later? Also, even if using this new hoopla crap, and you have the ink removed you will still have a scar from the injection of the tattoo. Remember how you get the tattoo. A certain number of needles (3-45) entering your skin over 5000 times a minute. In most cases past the derma. The ink in your tattoo actual causes the scared skin tissue to not be noticed from all the puncture wounds. When the ink is gone, what is left? Scar tissue. So, forget about this crap of ink. Do not visit a shop that carries it (btw it is only available in black) no matter if you were get work by them not using this ink."

Has anyone had a tattoo using Infinitink (Freedom-2) ink? Have you been happy with it? I'm looking for reviews from people who have actually had a tat completed using Infinitink (the ink that's easier to remove). I do understand that there's a sort of cultural war about the implications of a "removable tattoo": I'm not looking to start a debate here. I've been trying to find pictures of finished Infinitink tats, but can't find more than one. I can find lots of press releases about the ink, but no one who has seemed to actually had it done. The artist I'm thinking of using likes Infinitink, but my local shop said they wouldn't use it because it looks faded from the second it goes on.

Frenchie replied: "I don't know much about it, but here are some pictures. "

Need help with Infinitink tat? Hey, I'm getting ready to get my first tattoo and I want to get an Infinitink tattoo..it is unlikely that I will ever want to get rid of it but if I did I would want it to be more easily removed that with conventional tattoo ink. Anyone know a lot about Infinitink? Pro/Con? Thanks.

Sunshine Rainbows replied: "Infinitink tattoos aren't so different from regular tattoos. They still require several laser treatments to be removed. In addition to that, the tattoo can only be one color; black, so that limits your options. Also, this type of ink is only used at a few tattoo locations because only licensed tattoo artists are allowed to use it. If you don't live near one of the following places, you might just have to get a regular tattoo or forgo the whole experience. After all, if you're considering removal at all, you should put some more time into your tattoo decision. Tattoo Parlors with Infinitink available: All or Nothing - Dave Tedder (Smyrna, GA) No Hard Feelings Tattoo Gallery - Chris Blinston (Coral Springs, FL) Stained Skin - Anthony Dubois (Columbus, OH) Tattoo City Skin and Art Studio - Larry Brogan (Lockport, IL) Tattoo Super Genius - Damon Conklin (Seattle, WA) Texas Body Art - Johnny Jackson (Houston, TX) Third Dimension Tattoo Studio - Brian Murphy (Marshalls Creek, PA) Winn Tattoos - Chris Winn (La Jolla, CA)"

What do you think of tattoo removal? There's a new tattoo ink technology that was recently created called InfinitInk. It looks just as good as real ink, but it's 4 times easier to remove with a laser. It's only available in black ink at the moment, but expect colors to be available soon. haters stfu

alex replied: "i think that no matter how high tech the removal process is, it's still not going to look the same as before you had the tattoo."

ali replied: "i think tattoos are stupid to get an i don't care how much easier it is to get off its stupid to get a tattoo in the first place"

mzjavert replied: "On my last tattoo, the artist did use a little bit of InfiniInk. It was part of three different black inks that he used. Since the only way this tattoo is coming off is when they cut it off my cold, dead, body, I don't know how well it will work if removed. It's probably going to be a few years before the verdict is in."

Jaded_grl replied: "Ummm...if your dumb enough to get a bad or meaningless tattoo you should be stuck with it!! Do you homework on artist's and if your not going to like it always then don't get it!! And if your wishy washy as a person on likes and what not don't get a tattoo period!! You will end up regretting it! Less people in general should get tattooed, if your a douche a tattoo isn't gonna make any body think your cool, they are going to be like look at the tattooed douchebag!!"

tuckerjack48 replied: "1st excuse those rude people... i don't have any tattoos yet, but i have been doing research for the better part of a year... anyway, by how you are describing it, it sounds to me that it would probably come off easier, but the quality of the color (assuming black is a color...) like the one guy above said his artist used some of it, this is probably due to it's shade difference... i understand you wanting to look into the futur about possible regrets, but i suggest spending an extra couple months pondering over whether or not you really want it, and ask professional tattoo artists about it, then if you still really want the tattoo, then get it with regular ink. P.S. another option is to wait a couple of years and they are bound to release a improved, more efficient version of it"

Juli replied: "I think this can be a really good thing, but I'm not exactly ready to try it out just yet. I think the idea of developing inks that can more easily be removed is great. Sure, there's the obvious reasons of if people get something they later regret-- but there are lots of other reasons to get a tattoo removed. What if you were in a car accident, and 1/2 of your tattoo is mangled or cut away due to the crash? Or how about a skin disease that damages part and needs to be sergically removed? Or a pregnant woman who has streaching in unexpected places? There are many reasons to remove a tattoo that can't exactly be planned for or blamed on someone's lack of foresight. I think the idea of making tattoos easier to remove is good. But at the same time, I'm not about to be the first to go and test it out. Just like the black light ink that came out a few years ago-- I'd like to see it in action for a while, and make sure there aren't any other side effects to it before I give it a whirl."
